1290 Omodeo Tasso starts a courrier service from Cornello, Italian Alps
1370 VB becomes the Paris home of the Villeroys, advisors of the Bourbons, Kings of France.
1646 VB becomes a childhood place for Louis XIV.



1700s Louis Leon Pajot and Anselm Franz Thurn & Taxis (Postmaster in the logo)
exchange International Mail with their post horses.
King Louis XIV loves the efficiency of "La Poste".

1738 The French King Louis XV wants the revenues for himself
and takes La Poste away from VB.

VB Telecom spirit falls asleep.

1867 Prussia nationalizes the Taxis Post.
1869 Cremerie de Paris reopens as a Milk Store at the Halles food market.
1876 Alexander Bell invents the Phone creating a need for Phone Directories,
1881 Bell travels to Paris and visits VB.
1887 Construction of the Eiffel Tower,
"White Pages" and "Yellow Pages" start to be used
in France and in the US.

1910 The Romanov children grow up in Russia
with fairytales around Cremerie de Paris / VB.
1920 Coco Chanel discovers Cremerie de Paris with Dmirti Romanov.
1921 Young Aimee de Heeren meets Alexander Bell in Canada.
1938 Aimee de Heeren arrives in Paris
as a WW2 Secret Service agent.
Coco Chanel shows her Cremerie de Paris / VB.
Young Joe Kennedy Jr helps her - they fall in Love.


Return of a Story

1991 Registration of the Two Letter Domain VB.com
1993 Sony Phones and a little jewel left by Chanel
make it possible to reopen the legendary Cremerie de Paris No1
in the old VB mansion.
1995 VB becomes the first Internet Cafe in France
and an American Callback Telecom agency.
Difficult to find Internet acces
connects Cremerie de Paris with a multitude
of Tech pioneers, travelling through Paris as tourists.

1999 Invention of the Phone Book of the World
2004 The VB Whitepages project starts with
Whitepages.fr and Whitepages.it
The same Aimee de Heeren, now an older Lady, encourages the project.
The first Whitepages are programmed
from the Internet Cafe during evening hours.
2009 Whitepages.ma adds to the collection.
